Services described
Pages describing insurance claims analytics and risk reporting engagements are informational. A binding engagement begins only when both parties accept a written scope and fee.
Intellectual property
Website text, layout, and branding belong to Filehorizonbase. Client retains ownership of their claims extracts. Deliverables created under an engagement are licensed or assigned as stated in that engagement letter.
Acceptable use
You must not misuse the site, attempt unauthorised access to systems, submit unlawful content, or scrape the site in a way that impairs service for others.
No professional certificate by default
Unless an engagement expressly includes appointed-actuary work or regulated advice, materials are analytical exhibits and commentary for internal management use, not statutory certifications.
Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Hong Kong law, Filehorizonbase is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from website use. For paid engagements, liability caps and exclusions appear in the engagement letter. Nothing excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Hong Kong. Courts of Hong Kong have exclusive jurisdiction, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections that may apply.
